Me and My Grandpa

For my relationship I decided to do it about me and my grandpa. We were really close when i was little and i loved listening to all his stories. His great sense of humor always kept me laughing and i looked up to him for everything. He was a great person and i always loved being around him. When i was about 10 years old we lost my grandpa to cancer. Ever since then i have had to live with only my memories of my grandpa to fill the holes that were made when he left.

Falling asleep to a Thunderstorm

Experience

I chose falling asleep listening to a thunderstorm as my experience. It is one of my favorite things to do so i have obviously experienced it multiple times before. I am excited to to make this experience into a book. I plan on bringing this experience to class through a sound clip and having the class listen to it with the lights off and their eyes closed.

Critiques

Our project due date has now been moved to next week and it helps out a LOT! Midterms are all starting to pile up and we have so much stuff going on. I am working on my poster still trying to figure everything and get it perfect. I just found out my pdf didnt go on the computer from 2 weeks ago like i thought it did. this is great. great. great. great.

Princess Playhouse

Heres my treehouse model! I have a couple changes i still want to make to it. and i need to put it in a tree somewhere. I think maybe ill get a picture of my site and photoshop it in or something. I'll just have to figure out how to do that first. I also get to start from scratch again on my poster. I am really stuck on what is expected of this assignment. Im currently working now on ways to make this poster better. Hopefully in the end i can accomplish this and get a good finished product.

Treehouse

I have been trying to figure out google sketchup since thursdays class. It seems really cool and easy...i just cant figure out how to use it. He made it seem so easy in class when he was showing us but now i cant do it by myself. It would be a really easy way to show what i want for my treehouse especially because I CANT DRAW. Its fine though i wont let it stress me out too much. Well more than it already has. Tonight will be a late night with me trying to finish the 3d model and trying to sketch more. ughhh. So much fun.

Almost found the paint brush....

Our wayfinding project is moving along very nicely. We  have a lot of great information for it...We have all our nodes and landmarks figured out and we have our imaginary object! Aqua is a transfer student and is majoring in painting. She needs help finding her way through the mess of art supplies in the Union bookstore on the second floor. We have come up with many ideas that can help her but we have come to the conclusion of what will help the best. Were all super excited for this project to be done with and I am very confident in my group and the work and effort we have put into it.

Where are the paint brushes!?

     

We went to the Union bookstore and tested our theories about not being able to find the paintbrushes. We used people who are not in the school of design because we knew they would be more lost.
